The Marc Newson cabin interior design for the Qantas A380 Superjumbo.
- An extensive aviation interior project by Marc Newson Limited, the Qantas A380 cabin interior design encompassed every aspect of the new superjumbos.Design of the interior required a bespoke seat design for every class (First, Business, Premium Economy & Economy), as well as including revolutionary designs for passenger lounges, lavatories and self serve bars.Beyond the obvious physical and architectural elements within the cabin, the design of the A380 cabin interior included an extensive range of bespoke fabrics and laminates as well as crockery made by Noritake and cutlery by Alessi. The project required significant attention to detail and took 5 years from inception to launch.
