A low volume chair study made from recycled PET plastic
- SIN CHAIRLimited Edition, Sydney, Australia, 2011
- Strength In Numbers. The SIN Chair exists in two different resolutions. From afar it seems a smooth form with a striped appearance. Upon closer inspection it is a ridged surface with abrupt transitions spaced at 12mm intervals. The focus of the design is inthe negative spaces which expand and contract across the width of the chair. In it's overall form it is a petite and upright side chair. Its feelis akin to that of a rough compressed wool which belies its actual construction from recycled PET plastic layers retained by bespoke brass pins.
